Los AngelesCalifornia/United States

The California Science Center in Los Angeles brings science to life through hands-on exhibits, live demonstrations and large-scale objects. Opened in 1951 as the California Museum of Science and Industry, it became the California Science Center in 1998 and is now one of the city’s major public science museums. Its galleries explore ecosystems, human biology, space and technology, with exhibits designed around experimentation and discovery. The museum’s most famous object is Space Shuttle Endeavour, displayed in the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center. Visitors can also explore an aquarium, live animal habitats and changing exhibitions alongside the permanent galleries.
