DelftZuid-Holland/Netherlands

The Prinsenhof Museum in Delft is housed in a former medieval monastery that later served as the residence of William of Orange, the “Father of the Fatherland.” It is the site where, in 1584, one of the most dramatic events in Dutch history took place: the assassination of William of Orange. In addition to this national narrative, the museum celebrates Delft’s creativity and innovation, from the world-famous Delft Blue to the scientific discoveries that changed the world.
