Museum Bussemakerhuis

The Bussemakerhuis Museum in Borne is the only remaining linen trading house in the Netherlands that you can still visit in nearly its original condition. The museum illustrates how the linen trade and textile production operated in Twente during the 18th and 19th centuries and how this was connected to families such as the Bussemakers and the local Mennonite community, featuring historic rooms, artifacts, and explanations about the region’s textile history.
