A weapon once carried by President Theodore Roosevelt, Geronimo’s bow and arrows, and thousands of miniature soldiers are among the objects at the Frazier History Museum in Louisville, Kentucky. Founded in 2004 by local philanthropist Owsley Brown Frazier, the museum explores Kentucky’s history alongside stories from America and around the world. Its collections range from historical arms and military artefacts to documents, personal belongings and the Stewart Historic Miniatures Collection. The museum also explores Kentucky’s distinctive bourbon-making tradition through exhibitions on its history and culture. Live historical interpretations and changing exhibitions bring the stories behind the objects to life.
