Designmuseum Danmark in Copenhagen is Denmark’s national museum for design and decorative arts. Founded in 1890, it explores how objects and visual culture shape everyday life, with a particular focus on Danish design and its international influence. The collection includes furniture, ceramics, textiles, fashion, posters and industrial design, ranging from historic crafts to contemporary creations. Visitors can discover works by influential Danish designers such as Arne Jacobsen, Hans J. Wegner and Kaare Klint, alongside international design. The museum is housed in a former 18th-century hospital near Amalienborg Palace.
